The goal of this webinar is to educate Aging Life Care Professionals® who work with veterans and their families about the designated VA funds available to help cover home health and assisted living/memory care costs.

- Evaluate families for prospective eligibility in getting this VA benefit
About the Presenters
Joe Solsona has nearly 30 years of experience as a business owner and entrepreneur. He has started, owned, and run a variety of successful businesses including U2Cloud, Sunmark Group, Moveable Cubicle, and Sunmark Capital Management plus others. Joe Solsona’s greatest strengths are his experience and determination. Equally as important, Joe enjoys his work, particularly developing and implementing successful initiatives. Joe Solsona gained his BA degree at Oklahoma Baptist University, MS degree at Texas A&M- Commerce. Since then, he has post graduate studies at University of Oregon and St. Mary’s Law School. Despite his demanding career as an owner of multiple businesses, Joe makes time to be involved with community organizations. He is a member of the Rotary, Clay County Tech Council, Clay County Veterans Council, and has served as National Director of the National Skeet Shooters Association and Director of National Association of Veterans & Families (NAVF). He has also done voluntary work for NAVF and has initiated community programs such as “Jobs for Vets”.
Continuing Education Credit Hours
ALCA will apply for pre-approval for 1 CE contact hour from NACCM. Attendee must attend entire webinar to receive any CE certificates.
Cancellation Policy
The registration fee for webinars is non-refundable. Registrants who are not able to attend the webinar will receive audio & video files following the event. For clinical webinars, CE contact hours will not be available to those who are not able to attend the entire live event. In the unfortunate event that a webinar needs to be cancelled or rescheduled ALCA will notify the registrant by email and provide information on the new date or alternative arrangements. If the registrant is not able to attend the new date ALCA will refund the registration fee or place a credit towards a future event.
